Multiview

Multiview in the Standard Browser

The standard version of the MOBOTIX system supports the display of several cameras (also of different sizes) in a single browser window without any problem, without the need for additional software installations. In the multiview display several users can retrieve different camera screens in the network from various PCs without the need for a license. The cameras' most recent events can be integrated into the multiview display, not only live images.

There is no limit on the number of multiview configurations. Several multiview screens, split differently between the cameras, can be defined in one camera. The user can switch between the different screens by means of soft buttons.

Note:
All image formats of 160 x 120, 320 x 240 and 640 x 480 pixels in size are freely configurable.
Event and Live Image at a Glance

The multiview display screen is factory-set to show the current live image on the right with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels, with the last four events tiled on the left vertically in formats of 160 x 120 pixels. As the user rolls the mouse over the event images, they are enlarged. If he clicks on the events, the playback view opens at the appropriate place.

In addition to the pure camera selection and combination, the following functions can be set in the multiview display:
  • Auto zoom of the camera images when the mouse is rolled over them,
  • Triggering a soft button and, thus, activating camera functions (open gate, display alarm plan, etc.) by clicking a camera window,
  • Sequencing multiple cameras with an adjustable cycle rate to a field with a large image format,
  • Event image display from a camera's previous 10 alarms,
  • Automatic alarm display by

    • highlighting the corresponding camera image in red,
    • switching the camera with the current event to a defined alarm window,
    • activating a soft button (for an alarm plan popup, for example).

The functions are selected directly via the web browser by dragging them with the mouse to the camera window which is being configured.
