An early adopter of wireless
network technology,
Remote Monitoring
Technologies has deployed a
variety of
wireless systems since early
2001.
Wireless IP or Network based
Surveillance converts the video,
audio and data from a source
(camera, microphone, sensors)
into a standards-based Network
Protocol. This data stream may
be accessed from the network or
the Internet usually via a web
browser. Multi-level password
administration will limit access
and functionality to
surveillance system.
Mesh networking is a way to
route data, voice and
instructions between nodes.
It allows for continuous
connections and
reconfiguration around
broken or blocked paths by
“hopping” from node to node
until the destination is
reached. Mesh networks are
self-healing: the network
can still operate even when
a node breaks down or a
connection goes bad. As a
result, a very reliable
network is formed. This
concept is applicable to
wireless networks, wired
networks, and software
interaction.
In many wireless deployments, a
combination of technologies,
protocols and equipment is needed for
greater community coverage. Our
expertise in point to point
wireless, point to multipoint
wireless and mesh network
technologies allows us to help
you decide the solution
best for your project.
